Zbigniew Brzezinski holds an extremely interesting position that America should sometimes play the atagonist to keep the rest of the world in line. it's a shitty plan to be honest, but one that needs to hold. america often places it's misguided interested fiirst, resulting in more conflict. but on the other hand China-Pakistan vs India-Russia rival could blow up without a common threat of domination from america. i don't fault him for his position, but i wish we had some other way.

Very smart man. There are so many ways to stop and punish Russia. I just don't feel right to use weapon against them (even though they deserve it dearly).Georgia will become battlefield. We dont need that. Those rich oligarchs will kill each other themselves withut international involvement.

WWIII? Russia military is antiquated, not well trained, and really a non issue right now. Just watch some of the movies of their invasion of Georgia. It wont be ready for another 15 years. Yes, and no. Just like Gore would have had a much easier time winning in Iraq, Obama probably would command a more powerful negotiating position. Only a hawk can make peace and only doves win wars. Brzezinski has a strong bias as well, being a Pole with ancestors in interwar Poland who promoted 'Promethium'. Hence the controversy. Given his bias against Russia, it's not surprising.
