  • I have that radio and mine is peaked to 200 watts. It is a great radio

  • thought it didnt come with 27meg band or is it easy enough to get that

  • LOL back in the 90s we had some doofus idiot here that claimed to be able to get 300 watts out of the RCI 2970. He was talking on his 2970 one night and all of a sudden he was gone. Come to find out he blew up the final section of his radio. The next day he was in the CB shop getting it fixed, LOLOLOLOL!

  • That's a nice looking radio. Did you change the transistors? 25+ Amps seems like a lot.

  • I have the same radio it's the best I have ever had. As he says you will need a min of a 30amp power supply. However works fine from a vehicle. Good dx everyone.

  • hey great video man! 5 * * * * *

  • A good material for who don't want to buy a transceiver thanks for this test Bill !

  • Nice radio........shame the Propagations "Dead" on bands higher than 20 Meters.I would say the best built 10 meter radio on the market.I like them, some operators think they look like "Taxi Radios!!" and dislike them for this....73's Dave
