@MovieTrance I would say those are correct. Nightcore is pretty much a sped up version of a song with the higher pitched voices. And yeah, that's a good explanation of hardstyle hahaha (exactly how I would explain it). Trance is kinda a calming type I would say, as in "puts you in a trance"?(maybe).

Trance is basically songs that make you want to listen to it several times, and if you are high and you are listening to trance music, it boosts the effects up much higher. Happycore is lighter and happier while hardcore is harder (ei soft rock and hard rock music). I have no idea about nightcore But there IS a difference between techno and trance. Trance generally has spoken words, techno doesn't. Trance is also faster beats and more electronic sounding/higher pitched. Also doesn't help ppl mislabel songs...

@breeemoscreamo Trance is trance-like. The voices tend to have an echo, or some sort of effect to make them sound dream-like, and the beat may not be as prominent. Happycore is upbeat and fast, Hardcore sounds more extreme and intense, and the voices may be deeper or darker. Nightcore is like the happy medium, but it was originally a male techno band (I believe from Norway, but I could be wrong), now it's a style that hightens the voice pitch and remixes songs. Techno has less voice change.

I'm not too sure about happycore, ngithtcore was originally a group that sped up and raised pitches in songs, and that's how the Nightcore style came to be, and techno is. IDK. It's like. EVERYTHINGGG I sound so stupid. Sorry if I didn't help that much. >.<
