Yep, I can definitely hear a difference like you said... a slight "lag" type sound prior to a note, that shouldn't be there. Maybe you just happen to have a defective unit. Maybe Gert will send you a new one, and you can send that one back for diagnosis.
I've been in touch with Gert from MoonModular and we are fixing the problem. He's been 100%. I'll post an update soon.

You're not sending a gate into it to trigger the change events?

with the gate in it improves, but still not perfect. And the scaling seems off.

I just bought a used M565 and after I get it in a week or so I'll try to do some similar tests and post a video response.

I use also a M565. Your´s seems not to be "ok". There are 4 quantizer! (video is #2) All others with same effect?
HAN10 3 years ago
Yes. All 4 have the same problem.

I did compare, with 565 and without, too. Its true, the sequencer tuning with quantizer is differend, but the final result is the same.
(C is C and so on.) The quantizer threshold must be a other voltage (poti position) as the analog voltage for the same note (VCO).

In addition: I don´t have the slight "lag" /glitch effect/sound.

Thanks a lot!

Sounds like it's adding a little bit of lag/glide between notes or something???
