I thought about it the other day!! I was like, " I KNOW WHY THEY CHOSE THE FOUR-BEAT RHYTHM IN THE THEME!!! IT'S BECAUSE OF THE MASTER!!!!!!!!!! I believe the original sound was made by scraping on a metal cable, which is kind of close to a uke string!

It's even closer than you think - it was done with a key on a low piano string - the ones that are wrapped in additional wires. :)

So it's really no wonder that scraping on another musical instrument's string sounds *so* similar. :)
