With all our massive education we are now all dulled to the point of deadness. Do we believe the universe is a 'living thing' - or just a dead collection of balls spinning in space. Religion may be superstition but at least it had some life left in it. His message is further away than ever - the drug induced fads of the 60's were too shallow. 'The tyranny of the mind' and its dualism - was his message.
I dont know why this doco says such rubbish as Blake railed against reason,he said very clearly without contraries is no progression. attraction and repulsion, reason and energy, love and hate, are necessary to human existence.otherwise its great.

I love how The Doors is in the background. Morrison was very heavily influenced by Blake.
