my mom has a 2002 chevy astro van that has the 4.3 in it and it gets 10 mpg. she drives it like a bad outta hell. she calls it her vette.

He drives it like he stole it and the trips are mostly local. It's never been a mileage champ, usually getting about 16-18MPG on a good day. Funny thing is, after it went through the steep hills of Missouri with the air conditioning blasting in the summer heat, it got 20MPG. I can't see how--and it never has duplicated that feat.

did you buy it? How many miles were on it?  Same motor as my truck has in it. Very strong engines.

No I didn't buy, but I was interesting in seeing how it handled and how powerful it was since it had a 350 V8 in it.
