Just for comparison: the 1968 428 Cobra Jet Mustangs won Stock and Super Stock eliminator at the 1968 NHRA Winternationals. Camaros in those same classes won new doorhandles and a trailer ride home. CJ's were running low 11's....but: With 7" wide slicks on stock class cars, and 9"wide slicks on Super Stock cars.

Depends on the track. At sea level with a really good driver, sure.
At my track, with corrected altitudes of sometimes over 4500 feet, GT's run mid 14s and nothing better.
Hell my Cooper S pulled off a 14.9 at our track. Pretty sad that a rwd pony car with 315 can only outrun a 172 hp fwd car by 4 tenths.....
