Well, if you ask somebody about "flute" they'll say "What kind of flute?" because this is the generic name. There are transverse flutes, irish flutes, pan flutes... and the recorder is called "flauta dulce" in spanish; "sweet flute" would be the literal translation. I think that what you call flute is the transverse flute.
O MY GOD 8O

In Europe is called flute in English and recorder in U.S.A. as it is written at the title. Get some information before insulting you asshole.

@urresti
True. I never thought the Recorder to be a flute, since well.... Most flutes have "flute"in the name.
You have a very good point though.

Can that thing play sharps/flats? A lot of notes sounded like they were a half step off. But other than that I thought you did pretty well.
WolfLink64 2 years ago
I think so.
That cover is more complicated than the original, and the speed is higher too.Maybe it would sound better being played withouth the back sound.
Thank you very much.

huh, but still!!! i can hardly hit a 5 notes without my recorder sqeaking!!!
mikester3838 2 years ago
Yes,I'm always faced with that problem.
Try blowing a bit stronger (but regular),and take care of the back hole,be sure that it's only half-covered for the high notes.
urresti 2 years ago
where do you get all the music you play?
mikester3838 2 years ago
Thank you dude.
I play by ear all the songs I know.
