Later on in the series when Maxwell is about to marry Fran, Sara appears to Maxwell and not only does she give her blessings to them, it was she who was responsible for Fran's destiny to get a job as a nanny and be close to Maxwell and the kids. I love that respect Fran has for Sara and vice versa (unlike CC).
