I've so been there... water was at the exact same point in my Cherokee, but I was in mainly mud so I couldn't pull it out with the dodge pickup we have. Ending up taking two towtrucks chained together and 6 hours. Day I will NEVER forget.
man you should of seen my cherokee soaked up to the windsheild 10:30 at night me and my buddies left her there in the crick all night . it was stuck soo dam bad it toke me and my buddies all day to get it out. and she still ran fuckin great. with 10 gallons or watery oil lol.
