The surface is not as hard as concrete. It's somewhere between a hard rubber mat and a soft plastic. Still hurts when you face plant, though.

And the zoom to record surfing, bodyboarding and this stuff is a bad choise cause you cannot see all the wave and how they move on it, i dont want to watch just the dude. If you wanna know why i am saying this check out all the surfing movies and bodyboarding stuff and you will see how the camera record.

But its an opinion you can say another thing!
