i know exactly what he did. at 1:20 you can hear him go whoooooo. to activate star power so why cant we hear everything else? notice how theres a delay/echo in the vocals? he was holding the mic up the speaker to pick up the actual guy singing it so itd be impossible to not get perfect.

If you make a 'pah' like sound, it will register. I use it when doing guitarvox and it works.
