I love hearing people saying Milotic gave them issues. My first time playing against Cynthia ever I had a Kricketune on my team still, Milotic was the last pokemon she sent out, so I used Perish Song and then switched out and just kept healing for two more turns until Perish Song defeated Milotic LOL!

No. The only thing that's kept when you switch in or out is permanent status, such as burn or sleep (except for Natural Cure users, obviously). Temporary statuses like Leech Seed or confusion go away when you switch.

Spiritomb stops all FEARs, whether it's Rattata, Phanpy, Cleffa, Aron or anything else, dead cold. Garchomp and Lucario also mean the end of any variant that relies on sandstorm.
@ubershyguy8 Not 100% sure on this, but it looks like it can Froslass and Probopass (Nose pass evolve) can be tutor'd to learn Pain Split, and both are in the same egg group. So maybe if you put them both in day care, a Nosepass that knows pain split can be born? In Soul Silver and Heart gold anyway

AeroValkyrie is a master at using troll-licious techniques to defeat cynthia. toxic, spikes, toxic spikes, leech seed; these moves and protecting moves as well as the pokemon being level 1 (and it being better to heal that way) make this an amazing feat

That wouldn't be possible, because several Pokémon are required to beat some of hers. However, it might be doable on an unpatched ROM, since you can't gain experience on that due to an anti-piracy measure.
@SegaMario Not sure what you mean, since it wouldn't have really changed if they were Level 1 or Level 20. They were still low enough to get OHKO'd easily, they used no actively offensive moves, and they always went second. In fact, the XP gained is actually why he lost Nosepass, who would have made it through if it hadn't gained enough HP to nullify the Sturdy/Pain Split tactic.

Oh dear, guys it's not such a big deal!! That gamer was just lucky! As I mentioned before, the commentator said that Cynthia only had one Full Restore. If you check the relevant entry on serebii.net ("The Strongest Trainers"), however, you'll see that she has actually four Full Restores. Had Cynthia used the remaining three , Ducklett wouldn't have been able to substall Eelektross for so long without Poison and the strategy would have collapsed. Nice try but Cynthia was just generous.
There's just one problem with that idea, though. Opponents' items are programmed to be used AUTOMATICALLY when certain circumstances are met. There's no ifs or buts, an item WILL be used 100% of the time when that happens. So how do you explain what happened now? Either Serebii's wrong, or something in the strategy is bypassing the Full Restores - which would happen all the time, since because all the damage done is indirect, there's no danger of low or high damage rolls occuring.

Garchop is OP like the rest of Dragon pokemon, srs If you have 2 or more dragons on your team I have no respect for you as a trainer.
With my hate for dragon fanboys out of the way I must say well done, I beat Cynthia with using 5 pokemon the one not getting action was my starter all my pokemon were lvl 72-74

No, because subs work consistently, whereas spamming Protect isn't reliable at all, since your odds of success keep decreasing.

Oh dear, guys it's not such a big deal!! That gamer was just lucky! As I mentioned before, the commentator said that Cynthia only had one Full Restore. If you check the relevant entry on serebii.net ("The Strongest Trainers"), however, you'll see that she has actually four Full Restores. Had Cynthia used the remaining three , Ducklett wouldn't have been able to substall Eelektross for so long without Poison and the strategy would have collapsed. Nice try but Cynthia was just generous.

There's just one problem with that idea, though. Opponents' items are programmed to be used AUTOMATICALLY when certain circumstances are met. There's no ifs or buts, an item WILL be used 100% of the time when that happens. So how do you explain what happened now? Either Serebii's wrong, or something in the strategy is bypassing the Full Restores - which would happen all the time, since because all the damage done is indirect, there's no danger of low or high damage rolls occuring.
