@sgtmjrkingman Yeah, but that was only small pieces (no real mass) and after the time where it could have any energy to damage the orbiter. What caused the damage on Columbia was a suitcase size chunk of foam that came off before SRB sep, and that was obviously very bad. This mission had a part of the PAL ramp come off, didn't impact, but they redesigned the tank even further and no foam/damage events have happened since. Sorry for two years in responding :-)
I've attached a few videos under the main video of the launch. They include preflight video, the pitch maneuver and ISS docking from this morning for anyone who missed it :)
Update: I've also added a great clip of the Discovery crew coming into the ISS. They all look like they are having a great time.
Sweet upload! I missed it on NASA TV so i was very excited to see that every thing seemed to go very smoothly, i started to clap when the made it to orbit,
I realy wanted to get back out to florida to see this launch! i was there exactaly one year ago preparing to see discovery launch on the 13th! cant believe they left it so long!

What does Lisa's road trip in diapers suggest about Nasa's rigorous testing, and profiling!?

No matter how many times I watch a launch, it's like watching one for the first time again to me.

Aw that sucks. I'd love to go as well. If everything seems to get back on track with the missions I'd love to go down and see one launc!
