Wow! A way to quantify qualitiative answers. I'm always wanting to tell anecdotes to surveyers, because the questions never quite fit my experience. Sometimes they let me tell my "micro-narrative", but then repeat the question and I still have to interpret it as a binary (yes/no) or linear (scale of 1 to 5/10) answer. I think this would be more satisfying, especially for oral cultures.
Excellent video - could this research approach really come into it's own with the growth of social computing tools such as micro-blogging (twitter fragments), Facebook etc?
