it needs to be the round style and not the funny shapped ones you can get. you have to make sure its a nice tight fit before you slide it inside your tube. the tighter the hole the better, last thing you want is a slack hole ;-)

Lubrication can get a bit messy and make everything go soft and you wont be able to use it. i would suggest a bit of talc rubbed in around the entrance to the hole and try to slide it in with both hands. you may have to with draw and try again if it is too tight, take your time and dont rush it
