My dad put one in his 75' F-250, it can pull like a son of a bitch. So much torque it broke one of the u-joints pulling a 625 bushel wagon full of corn out of the field!!!
Don't worry guys, those motors did that when they were new. (lol)
After turning wrenches on automobiles for 15 years I've gone back to school and am working towards a bachelors in heavy truck repair. I am continually amazed at how ruggedly built and stone-axe simple commercial diesel's are.
I agree with o56kid. Burn up the starter hitting for that long. But, then on the same hand, those motors are junk! I hate the 3208 and just about every thing else that Cat makes....Sure, it'll run for a long time, but when it goes down....it stays there!
