@nonstopbribri By doing a good job and following orders. I believe you can apply for EOD as a Corporal and you'll be promoted to Sgt upon completion of your EOD training. Try to start off in the MP or Armorer MOS fields to get a good start in EOD. Hope this helps, and good luck in becoming a Marine.

we filipinos are greatful to the usmc they're our brothers in arms they fought with us they inspire,assist and protect us and i even thought of joining the usmc when i was young just like my other relatives but i'm gonna serve my country and it will be my pleasure to fight with us marines as soon as i'm done with the pma and officer course i hope you guys appreciate how the usmc fight for your rights. They did the right thing and they continue to inspire me to fight for my country.

Its an entrance test that you are required to take to see if you are first, smart enough to enter the armed service and second to determine which MOS you are qualified for. It contains Reading and Comprehension questions as well as Math questions.
@dusty1977 Almost anyone can pass the ASVAB, and if they dont pass they can just take it again. The lowest possible score is in the low to mid 30s depending on the branch of service out of 99. I actually scored a 99/99 but I didn't join. I instead went to college and after receiving my bachelors in Astrophysics and Particle Physics I score a position with the Department of Defense as a Physics Lab Technologist at the Naval Research Facility, Plasma Physics Divison.
Scored* a position. In anycase, I received my masters degree now and finally became a full research scientist. I'll be receiving my Phd in 2 more years I cannot wait. @nonstopbribri By doing a good job and following orders. I believe you can apply for EOD as a Corporal and you'll be promoted to Sgt upon completion of your EOD training. Try to start off in the MP or Armorer MOS fields to get a good start in EOD. Hope this helps, and good luck in becoming a Marine.

Your tax money on defense budget is actually what keeps your pathetic ass free. @the1theonlywhtever How were we beaten back? Hard to be beaten back when the United States never had a permanent military presence in that region of Afghanistan. Last time US Forces were there, (October 2010), we sent the Taliban fleeing with no American casualties and three Taliban kills.

@dusty1977 dude i wasn't insulting just the marines i was talking about all of the rat hole branches of our military.besides the defense budget is for destroying the Russians in 1978, because otherwise we have fighter jets for all the dog fights we get into with the Taliban, submarines for Al-qaedas massive naval fleet, and bases in Germany and south Korea to fight off the growing threat in the middle east.

Also, you show your ignorance here again...we have submarines to guard against third world countries that are buying off Russian Subs that are sold...many with nuclear capabilities. Last I checked, North Korea is STILL a threat...that's why we have a base there and we have a base in Germany as a layover to travel to the middle East and/or Asia. Think next time before you speak.

Its an entrance test that you are required to take to see if you are first, smart enough to enter the armed service and second to determine which MOS you are qualified for. It contains Reading and Comprehension questions as well as Math questions.

@dusty1977 Almost anyone can pass the ASVAB, and if they dont pass they can just take it again. The lowest possible score is in the low to mid 30s depending on the branch of service out of 99. I actually scored a 99/99 but I didn't join. I instead went to college and after receiving my bachelors in Astrophysics and Particle Physics I score a position with the Department of Defense as a Physics Lab Technologist at the Naval Research Facility, Plasma Physics Divison.
