turn the idle switch down does the idle bounce up and down when its in neutral or u have the clutch in.....i had the same problem with my civic wen i swapped the engine
your camshaft sensor has a leak or broke open and oil got all over it and now it doesnt read anything, its under air intake, take out the sensor and clean it up really good and itll be fine like mine was
I would like everyone that is bashing the SRT-4 to come to numidia Pennsylvania and line up next to mine for pink slips. I don't care what u drive if its street legal ill smoke it.
dude i dnt care what your driving or what horsepower you push horsepower is NOT directly related to how fast a car can go. its all about what your useing to put it on the ground and how its set up. i doubt highly your car will beat mine in the 1/4 mi ive raced corvettes and have beat them. ive raced mustangs and beat them. i have joined the 100 mi hr club numerous times and over that. wanna talk see you fri at numidia raceway. names zach ill have the black srt4
ill tell you what the problem is, you own an srt-4. just drive the car off a cliff, and the problem will be fixed. take one for the team. youll be doing the entire world a favor.
Fag is pissed because he hasn't gotten his share of cock for the day and hating because all he can see from SRT-4s its the exhaust pipes smoking his piece of shit ride on the windshield(provided that he even has one)for talking too much shit and probably not even having a car to show for the matter! Now sit son and STFU you've just been POWNED!
Ok guys it seams that i found the reason of this. Thanx for all the comments. It seams that the problem was related t the vacuum lines. I have Exhaust Depot hard pipes so i wasent using the red vac line, but yesterday I plugged it back to the cold side pipe and it seams that the problem has gone away. Didnt have it today. Lets see if it was that...
One last thing I forgot to mention is the fact that the connectors suck on basically all the sensors(check all connections)...this is where alot of electical issues I have seen have come from. Most of the time the sensor is fine, but the connector slips off a little causing an engine light and a bad running car. Also have you figured out your problem?
I have dealt with pretty much all there is to deal with when it comes to tuning a stock turbo SRT4 along with all of its basic issues, so if you have any other questions about the SRT4 let me know and I'll try to help.
Good luck with the car, I hope you got it figured out. The srt4 has had TPS wiring issues in the past but the way your car was acting seemed more like the Cam Sensor to me.
Also does your car have any mods or our you stock??? The reason I ask is because if you have a mapclamp or SAFC, or other electronic mod it can make sensors screw up intermittently.
but i have to tell you this: it happend after i drove fats, stopped and waited till the engine cools down but it still was the same. but after i turned the car off and started it a second later it was abck to normal... maybe the heat screwed the sensor and the pcm went nuts... and after i turned if off and on it was back to normal... ill see if it happens again
If its not the cam sensor then you may have a MAP sensor or even a computer problem. The fact that you are not showing a Check engine light on the video makes me think the PCM is malfunctioning. However the cam sensor is in a spot where it gets very hot and heat can definately cause a sensor to screw up...and then act normal once it cools off again. I hope you can figure out the problem, I'd help more if I could but I can only base my judgements off the short video online.
One other thing is that this problem should be setting a check engine light...if its not there may be other issues there. You may want to disconnect your battery then unplug that sensor then plug the sensor back in and reconnect the battery after a few minutes.
Its the cam sensor....its located on the drivers side of the motor(easy to find sensor). My car is still having issues avery now and then with it(bad plugin connector). Check the plugin first then replace the sensor if unplugging it and plugging it back in doesn't help. When that sensor is not working right the car can only rev up to 2000 rpm. I'm a mechanic so I am pretty sure this is the problem.

ill check the sensor, but it only happens when the car gets hot, after driving fast. When its cool everything is alright.
