god damn this video here brings back memories! that was one tough boss fight i tell yah! what ever happened to the hard boss challenges these days? bosses are so easy to pawn now days compared to the old school RPGs. grats Link7654!
It's true that a lot of RPGs nowadays are too easy but BoF isn't hard at all. It's in my top... something of easiest RPGs. Up there with say... Pokemon and Golden Sun. I thought BoF3 and 5 were kinda hard but the rest of the series is hella easy.
He doesn't use thunder in this version? In the SNES one he uses it and BAM, 20 HP gone just like that almost every other turn.

The game developers noticed most gamers nowadays don't have the patience to play games that are too hard.
I like old school games myself.
Most of the good old school RPG's have just the right amount of difficulty.
