  • I couldn't stand Julie, such a fickle, passive-aggressive witch. I loved that theme song; I've tried to find it to download, to no avail. :( I really liked Leonard Staab as Hart, such a terrible accident that he was in, IRL. I preferred Eleni with Alan-Michael, which is probably an unpopular opinion, lol. Loved Rick Hearst as A-M. I was never big on Harley but she and Mallet were a good fit and enjoyable as a couple, unlike Phillip/Harley.

  • Look at that "Guiding Light" scene with Fletcher [Jay Hammer] and Nick [Vincent Irizarry]! It was believable that they were dining outside; you even hear the crickets chirping, a little wind movement.

It shows us why today's soap are just about dead (only six remain; there were about 20 during the 1970s). The serials had budgets, cast, and stories involving communities. Real art. Now, they've been so shoestringed, we should be amazed anything gets completed in production prior to broadcast.

  • Dylan was played by Morgan Englund whose real life mother is Gloris Leechman.

  • There's an acoustic version on another GL video but it says that it was sung by Diva Gray and Darryl Tookes. I have the acoustic version but all I'm hearing was a male voice singing.

  • This clip features Roberta Flack and Bill Chinnock singing the vocal version of "Hold on to Love" in the background. Excellent!

  • THIS should had been the opening theme--redone so they shared more parts (obviously would have had to be 30 sec or so) but how classy would that have been??
