Good point, pretty much all the alu is coated and I used bolts that were passivated, so I hope it will be OK. Amazingly few bolts that in fact go steel to alu: six in total I think. Engine is on original mounts plus two extra that are on part of the few struts that are steel.
Not sooo neat if you see it close up ;-) but thanks anyway... Wish I could weld too. My batts are not A123, they are Hi Power (very similar to TS) I think A123 would be overkill because they do like 12C discharge, which is great for charging (4C?) but since my system only pulls about 2C (100A, these are 50Ah cells) to 3C (150A) A123's would be really underused. Which might be good for their longevity, but I guess it will be cheaper to buy 2 sets of HiPowers... I stand to be corrected, though.
Good news you will get new Nanotech battery A123 systems more powerful than Lithium-ion Powered ! The Nanotech battery quick charged in 5 mins get full , you will get about 450 miles range
The bad news for you is a I have batteries and am not interested in yours. Anyway they are liIon (phosphate) Dream on, 5mins charge for 450miles range, = 115kWh battery pack, at 300V that means for a 5min charge you need to push 4600amps through to charge them. I better start looking to buy a coal fired power station...
good choice for the music , this single came out in the end of the seventies during the oil crisis , at the time I was chasing around N.Yorks trying to find a gallon of gas !

Correction, just watched the video... two bolts and 10 self tapping screws. All passivated, however.

Neat and clean. Good work. Wish I could weld.
Using A123? I saw on their site that they catered to industrial and high use customers. Do they deal with EV conversions???? Thanks.
