I love this video because it really shows off Neon's beautiful, graceful arms. For me, the arms and hands are what really separates the good dancers from the OK dancers. They should look like they have no bones in their arms when they dance. That's one of the reasons I don't care for Didem. She seems very stiff when she dances, and her arms are terrible. (I too prefer barefoot for belly dancers).

this dancer is good. I just have an issue with her rapid movements with her arms it could have been timed better. Everything is done too fast and is distracting to her balancing act with the candles. Along with the trippy background it made the whole experience confusing.

Fantastic display of balance and control! I dislike the use of heels in bellydance but I've always preferred the performances barefoot. However, that doesn't change the fact that she's doing the whole dance in heels and with lit candles balanced on her head and still exudes a balance and grace of incredible skill.

I don't like heels because they are uncomfortable, because they throw off the natural weight distribution of the body, and over long term, are bad for a dancers feet, knees and back. I've had more than one doctor, fellow dancer, and even chiropractor tell me that, let alone my personal experience. And I partly don't want to dance in heels because of the association people still make with bellydancers to strippers. I may wear a dance shoe w/a low heel, but that's about it.

Everyone has a different reason to do the things they do - i.e. dance. Belly dancing can be seductive, you have to admit it's very sexy! however people do it because they enjoy it as well.
