A taming technique I like a lot is where you fill your bathtub up just enough where he cant stand he has to constantly swim, let him get tired the from under the water raise your hand to support him, he will most likely bite or something if he is not tame, if he does bite you or attack or anything drop him so he will have to keep swimming, eventually he will know you are supportive and safe and he will not bite. just give this a try it might take a few days but if it works for you its worth it.
don't feed your tegu in he's cage he think you going to feed him and that's why he attacks you .feed him away from the cage take him out and i like to use Cypress Mulch Bedding they like it..and yes i like your cage it looks cool
