gadzooks this was a reminder of how afraid i am of flying. i've flown many miles as the wife of an aerospace exec and each time it was a struggle for me lmaoooooo i now am proactive and tell the hosts i'm a scaredy cat!

But for the most part, it's a fast way to get where you're going..I have traveled quite abit by plane, but I still wont get on small planes, lol..I guess I just dont wanna wind up like Buddy Holly, Ricky Nelson, & all those famous singers flying those small bucket planes...it's big jets for me all the way! =)

Im a white knuckle flyer myself, lol..esp on take off and landings..my gf just told me recently her near crash landing over my state in much detail...lightning hit their plane..now I dont think I will fly for awhile, lol..also too another friend (couple) flew last yr to hawaii and while over the ocean the computer blinked out..was very scary for them altho they were able to reboot it..they rebooted one i was on 2 yrs ago before taking off for similar problem & I almost told them I want off, lol

Very cool, Nancy. You'd be surprised how many people have never flown ~ and now they can see this and know, in a way, what it is like. We have all flown in our family. It is a bit creepy, if you get all technical-thinking. But, what a fabulous feeling it is to be so high off the ground!

Yes, especially when you can look out the window and consult a map to know where you're going and where you've been!
