This was the easiest way to level sneak in Marrowind as well. ALSO glass armor wasn't hard to get either. It wasn't related to character level, so you could easily get it at level 1. LOL

Another good place to boost sneak is in the Inn of Ill Omen (at least I think that's what it's called), where the Dark Brotherhood guy sends you on your first killing mission. The guy will just sleep forever, so you can use him for as long as you need to for boosting sneak.

there is an much easyer way to increase your snake ability. into the prison ruins where you start is a room with 4 goblins (1 shaman) and a few rats. if you killed the goblins you can stay in front of the rat fence an sneak with pressing q. the rats wont realize that you are there. now you just have to click if the windows for skill 25,50,75,100 appears and then you will have sneak skill 100 just before you are lvl 2 oder before you leaved the ruins. sorry for my bad english^^

lol you dont even need to do this i got my sneak up to lvl 100 by just playing the game and i got it there before the end of the main story line and a few of the guilds, all you ned to do is sneak whenever you enter a cave or ruin

the other place is go to the place where that is opposing the fighters guild (I forget the name of them) find the cat dude in the main lobby off to the left. go behind him and back up into the door jam slowly. I put a pillow on my PS3 controller and works fine. just need to check back once and a while to press X at 25 50 75. you need to be at least level 25 at least so the bastard dosent hear you .

also make sure you take off you boots or shoes, it helps

On XBOX 360, it's easy as hell to get it to 100....Step 1) grab a rubber band. Step 2) kill a random person in the game to get into the assassin's guild Step 3) dont kill Rufio, just as he sleeps put that rubber band around your analog sticks while in sneak mode Step 4) come back in about 30 minutes or so.

nice video but you can also become grand champion in the arena. have the little elf (i forgot his name) follow you. then take him to someplace where there are no guards and pickpocket him rapidly. he doesn't do anything and it takes less than 15 minutes to get it up to 100 that way

The more people in the affected area of sneak, the faster it rises. I usually use the Cheydinhal Guard Barracks. Just one girl would take ages. And your information is very wrong, how quickly your levels rise depends on your level. The higher you go, the longer it takes.

a very good way to get sneak up is go to the merchants in and goto the basement door and auto walk into the wall there are about 5-7 ppl inside so it take like a minute to get from 70 to 71 and so on

It takes longer than 1 hour. I just finished leveling mine to 100 on PC as it's actually faster to find someone that doesn't care if you pickpocket them and setup a keyboard macro to spam E as fast as you can over and over. You get 2 xp for every 'successfu; (or, undetected) pickpocket (or basically the screen just opening and closing).

I went to the Skooma Den and did this to go from 80 - 100 and it's much faster than sneaking in the corner.

Good point. I eventually used the cheats to raise my skills in a natural way. IE I would raise the skills I wanted 10 points to level up to my potential maximum which was lvl 50 and 100 all stats.

I didn't just raise everything to 100 and change my level to 255 or something stupid like that.

Actually I start every game by maxing out my sneak like that. When you're in the cell, you just go into sneak and walk into the corner to the right of you right next to the secret passage for like, a half hour and then your sneak skill will be completely maxed though you don't need to do it that long I just read a magazine front to back while I'm doing that. lol

the real way to do it is pickpocket the adoring fan, then exit his inventory, then repeat. You get twice as much experience, and the good thing is the Adoring Fan never reports your crimes, so you can do it right in front of a guard.

Also, if you're going to glitch, you might as well just open up the console with ~ and use commands instead, much faster and less time-consuming.

uhm, i have not tested this but in a dark brotherhood quest, there is this old man in bruma, there is that passage way above his chair, in which he relaxes every night. so maybe you can also increase your sneak there?
