the elves are maybe the most weak race (apart from the normal infantry of the goblins) in BFME 2. they're great advance are the archers, which have camouflage, and they're arrow-upgrade.

@trebuchet21 The weakest race?No..they aren't because their units are the most elite in the game..Their archers in a Fortress map can have twice as the range of a catapult and in a tower a little more than a catapult...And they also have powerful heroes to start with at the very beginning of the battle..I wouldn't brag the cavelry,swordsmen and spearmen because they're just as strong as the Men's.above all the elves' units have great speed so the archers mostly can hit n' run.

i just didnt like it how on the first one people with be noobs and use rohan and just build horsemen and run around with king theoden and use his power which causes them to get only 10% damage and then they would build all heroes and eventually get ghost army

though im still loyal to isenguard iv loved them since bfme and its al cause of my strategies to gain resources fast and upgrading fast instead of building heaps of units one of my fully upgrade battalions could wipe out 4 battalions plus with the roar power to increase damage

yeah elves are one of best races because they have the best range and damage plus when they upgraded they epic plus you station them within trees so the enemy doesnt think anyones there its best for defence purposes and ambushes

i see elves really tough and annoying when against them, they hide in the fog and shoot down most of my troops before i react :(i dont like the dwarves because they dont have very decent cavalary, but they have the half hero strength wagon which can really help early on vs archers, and they have the demolishers, just build about 4 of them early and the enemy is just screwed without the fortress or other buildings they wasted money on. my favourite is goblins, because they spawn massive numbers

@OrbitalFlames You can play a singleplayer campagn with both the good side and the bad side, play scirmish on any map against the computer (4 difficulty levels) or online, and play "the war of the ring" mode online or against the computer. You get a ton of gamplay for your money. (Sorry for bad english)
