Her costume reminds me a bit of Marilyn Monroe's Happy Birthday dress, except with a red collar. IMO it's lovely and not garish nor distracting from the routine compared to much of the super-bright multi-coloured leotards commonly seen in the sport.

she is very elegant and does nice pivots but i have seen muuuuuuuuuch more difficult throws with the ball than hers. i don't think the routine is very demanding but she performed it well.

Unfortunately, I'm agree with you. I totally dislike the use of back flexibility...but this is just my simple opinion. Anyway, Kanaeva is a great gymnast...
