the tv function on these China phones is the same as the TV sets in your home. so if there is signal available on air, it will work.The phone receives free analog TV channels with antenna so you do not need to pay anything.

the television only picks up analogue signals so if the networks have switched to an all digital broadcasting system like in the USA then the TV wont work. But you could still use the giant protruding antenna to pick up FM radio signals or poke peoples eyes out.
