@gnostie Hi, yeah we used the 40mm pipe - check out our parallettes article on the website that breaks the process down in more detail if you like. Hope it goes well...
Thanks for that. The biggest problem now is that B&Q stopped doing the plain tees in 40mm, so not only do I have to get the end caps online, but the tees also. And these online sellers charge £8 shipping for the 4 tees and 8 end caps, shameless people that they are. Still, may be worth it.
@silvermovement Hi, we bought the PVC from a local DIY store in the UK. I'm pretty sure it was just standard PVC thickness, but it didn't bend too much when we put our weight on it. I'd maybe test it with a dips exercise before a handstand just to be safe!
@silvermovement it was B&Q. I got everything from there, except the end caps which were a bit of a pain to source so I ended up getting them from a plumbing website, although I can't remember the site now.
@geothetwo Hi, well I weigh about the same as you and I've never doubted the parallettes. They're solid enough for me and I've trained on them using a weighted vest for handstand push-ups. I really think it depends on the thickness of your PVC pipe and the length you use of the horizontal section (we used 18"). Hope that helps, Kris, Fitstream.
Hi, is this 40mm pvc pipe? I am trying to get the stuff form B&Q and making a shopping list. Thank you.

@TheGreatSteal We picked them up from B&Q, but you should be able to get the same stuff from any DIY shop.
