Its reminds me grats days in Bulungu in Bandubdu province. I was 7 years olds. I can see Bulungu's port, waiting from the boat . This makes me cry. Oh my country, my Congo, my childhood. I miss everything.
God, what a song! Whenever it plays it reminds me a couple of lovers I ran into when I was about 14 yrs old and the song was just two months on sale. Then suddenly this girl with a sweet voice started singing to her man:KAMALE OZUAKI NGA NA MABOKO YA MAMELO, BOMENG' OYO AWA NA MOKIL...I walked by very slowly not to miss a note. This took place in the compound of the St. Alphonse Parish in Matete, Kinshasa. What a wonderful era it was! This song always brings my childhood memories back. Thanx
Thanks to whoever posted this nice music of Nyboma. I think this was Nyboma first song with Lipwa-Lipwa, my God what a success this was in Kinshasa. Nyboma's voice was angelic and Pepe Kalle's contribution was magic. I remember July 1973, good memory, glorious past. Thanks God as Nyboma is still with us today and thanks for his voice which is still the same as in the latest album of Lutumba Simaro : Salle d'attente.
1977!!!. On High School Trips every saturday. Where r u Kakamega High Sch?. Where r u Sigalagala?. Mukumu?. Kamsinga?. Thank u for posting this one. God bless u!!!!!.
No words could express the genuineness of these artists. I was living in Kananga at the time, my home town when that song came out. It was my puberty - what emotion, what memories! Innocent and full of ambitions. Listen, there is another kicker after this song" Mualuke". Who has got it? please post?. Listen I am not saying that Nouvelle generation was not a " heart warming" masterpiece. Lipua Lipua was authentic and a winner. Thank you.
I am a Liberian in love with Zairerian music, especially "orchrestra Lipua Lipua". Is there any one with additional Lipua Lipua music, I am asking you please upload the song.
Love this song, Nyboma's vocals rock, actually never knew he was in Lipua lipua. forget the kofi's and the rest, this kind of music stands the test of time. thanks alot bwanakeino
