@Harlemkiid149 Canadian cars are LHD and that drift was a clutch kick. Basically push the clutch in while holding the gas and let it out fast or clutch then rev it and let the clutch out fast all your trying to do is break the tires free so there is less traction and sideways you go. And ya stiffer suspension will definitely help as well as a strut bar to stop body roll. Good luck on the 240 and Driffttinnn! :)
@wasab1z Don't silvias come with viscus (sp) LSD's stock? Other than like the Q's/Spec S ones.. If it has one of those just shim it up and you'll be going sideways daily.
Ya haha like the one guy said, in Canada these are normal roads lol gonna need a retake in a week with like 3 inches of snow that will be there hahaha.
lol eric, Isn't it funny how everyone here says how dangerous that is? i've drifted that corner, in rain. snow, and when it was dry. in a; truck, 240sx, and honda accord. yay fun
And no I'm not on bc240 I was but I ended up selling it and buying another rx-7. This spring maybe ill have a couple how to vids or just stupid things like fwd cars sliding on McDonald's trays lol or anything you guys request ill try and fit in just give me some ideas and ill work on it.
Yup it was a clutch kick just a stock 240 with winter tires lol, not to much of a drift but I will have way more bids posted by spring. Hope you all enjoy.
@ericiscool2007 I just bought a 240sx today, its all stock, eventually im going to tighten the rear suspension but i want to learn to drift. I know there are about 6 or so techniques to use for drifting, I'm most familiar with the E brake technique. I heard a lot of people use the clutch kick. How exactly does that work?
@retardeddude0000 Power-over is a technique to initiate oversteer. The other initiating techniques are shift lock, clutch kick, hand brake, feint (a.k.a. Scandinavian flick), and inertia drift.
Since he was not oversteering when he entered the turn, it's not a drift. This is a powerslide.
@ph13rwun I had thought that powersliding was using the momentum of the car to break the grip on the rear wheels causing the car to slide out of its line. Is that what was done here?
@retardeddude0000 No, he seems to be using clutch kick to break the wheels loose. With a clutch kick you push in the clutch, rev the engine up and let the clutch out quickly.
Using the momentum of the car to oversteer is what is done with a feint drift. Before the entry point you steer away from the corner and quickly steer into the corner. Inertia drift uses the momentum of the car as well, but you use the brakes to shift the weight of the car forward and then steer into the corner.

@SOULJAJOE010 it's not powersliding, that's a power-over I do believe. Someone correct me on the technique if I'm wrong.
