Your hair is beautiful, no doubt about that. However, for people like me who have "mixed hair" (i.e. rough, course, dry) styles like this can be extremely difficult!

Nevertheless, your tutorials are amazing, so keep it up!

mixed hair shouldnt really usually be course or dry, condition your hair with hair mayonaise keep it in well condition, it should be soft, [I have mixed hair] But them in rollers tighty, and you should get the same look just dont bush the curls out too much or your hair goes EVERYWHERE! perhaps you could try 'relaxing' your hair, or using strightening your hair before hand.

my hair is actually naturally curly, and my curls are moderately tight.

i noticed that you were talking about the curls just being loose/wavy, so here's my question, do you think it's a better idea for me to straighten my hair and then do it the way you've done it, or should i just do this style with my natural curls?

hello, to answer your question, you can pull your curls slightly loose with a brush and blowdryer, if you straighten with a flat iron it will be almost impossible to add curl to your hair the way you desire. after you loosen the curl then add rollers to your hair and set. :) hope this answers your question

lenadactyl: nice, you have curls. it's easier to style your hair because you will have more volume as oppose to if you have super straight hair. I agree with the yadira319, just blow dry your hair straight, it will still have volume to work with.

i used a large curling iron because i dont have rollers,and it came out the same,maybe larger curls(like banana curls) and then i went on doing what you instructed,i love the way it looks,and youre right,i have short/mid length hair and it looks pretty,thanks so much for the tutorial<3

Also... I am so glad you introduced rollers to your vids. There are so many different techniques of applying them therfore creating diversity with each look! They are also a great healthy way for the hair to dry naturally!!!! Bravo!
