  • awww how very cute! we are getting a yellow sided one at the first of the year when he is weaned - cant wait!!

  • my green cheek looks like the 1 on the left and he is 4 months will he loose the red on his chest when he gets older or what please tell me

  • what foods do you usually provide in weaning the baby birds? :)

  • SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hi!

I might be getting a green cheek conure, actually a trquoise one. but i was just wondering, can they eat on there own? thanks :)

  • @samimerhi A breeder normally won't sell a bird to you that needs to be hand fed if you don't know a lot about birds. When I got my baby sun I had to hand feed her. A green cheek was my first bird and I'm really glad I didn't have to do it with him! All weaned birds can eat on their own as long as you provide a food bowl with food. Preferably high up in the cage. They also need a constant supply of water. Beware, though, of GCC's - these birds are naturally nippy!

  • @snikkers27 thanks :) actually the breeder said that she can feed him until he's ready to eat on his own. It's true GCCs can be nippy! I already have one and he NEVER bites me. but he always bites my brothers! (im not planing to cage them together if you were asking).

  • @samimerhi Haha I have two green cheeks as well, and we weren't going to cage them together at first, but we ended up doing it for about a year because they just loved the company.

  • @snikkers27 Thats great but my gcc is very aggressive with others exept for me. I dont think i can cage him with another bird. I coudnt get anotherone though :( the breeder said that there are no more.

  • @samimerhi Mine is the same way! I call him my bodyguard bird. How sad that you couldn't get another one! If you are still looking, birdmart and avianweb are great resources to find breeders locally and nationally. I actually think all of my birds came from one of these two places :p

  • Aww! I used to have a green cheek conure for 9 months, but then it diedd. x( We buried him underneath, our apple tree. D=

  • Press 6 xD

  • i wonder what they taste like

  • I love it when people make comments about something that they know nothing about. Nice Birds! Had mine going on 4 years. He seeems to enjoy taking dumps on my shoulder but I guess thats why I use old shirts :)

  • i have a yellow sided i think hes the best

  • awww baby was greeting the camera and fell down went boom. so cute!!!

  • would you please tell me if they can live outside the house in a cage. the lowest temperature we get here is 50F

  • "Oh my gosh! I found.. cooorn!" I love how he looks at it and fails to grab it, so cute!

  • Ahhhh they're so cute!! The way they're so off balance and so quirky make it all the cuter X3

  • LoL I thought that dish was full of jelly beans for a second.

  • OMFG LOOK HOW CUTE

  • I have even CUTER ones on my channel...

  • @GeoSlash99 Hello stupid person. Bye the way, The birds on your channel are not Green Cheek babies. Also, they are not even babies that you raised, you took the video in a pet store. Do find that, bc you are so stupid, life is more difficult for you, or is it true that ignorance is bliss?

(However, If you are a child who does not know any better, please disregard this comment.)

  • @pg1437 First off, they ARE green cheek babies. Secondly, I never said anything about them being from me. Also, I am not saying anything bad about this persons video, just saying that I had cuter ones on my channel. Which was true, mine were younger, and head bopping.

You sir are the stupid person, for completely disregarding all of my above points, and, writing a hateful comment, over a comment trying to advertise one of my videos.

    Good day.

  • @GeoSlash99 Well if you feel the birds on your channel are cuter, fine, but keep it to yourself. Don't post on someone else's video asking their viewers to visit YOUR channe and watch YOUR videos. Anyway, If you had good videos you wouldn't have to go around asking people to watch them - You parasite.

  • omg!!!so cute im gettin one and i need tips on how to keep them quiet besides the cage cover.(idea)

  • Awwww looks at the little baby birds :D theyre so cute i could eat them.....

  • @MySnowy123 lol

  • That's a nice Cinnamon there, very cute :)

  • I love how they look soo stumpily at that young age <3

  • so adorable!! I lost my GC conure in August to a hawk. I really miss him.

  • 0:44

    Haha!

Baby trying to go under the other! so cute!

  • omg they're soo cute when they can't find their balance.

i got my conure at 5 weeks old and he's at 2 years now..

this video just reminded me of how cute and small he was when i first got him<3

  • Oh my goodness soooo cute!

  • I think its sick to raise a green cheek conure by hand just to make a bigger profit. I also find it sick when they are being kept alone and not in a pair of at least 2. They are swarm pets and need the contact with an other green cheek. Even if you are around them 24/7 you will never be able to replace a fellow parrot. And please don't buy a hand raised conure. They probably don't even know that they are parrots instead of humans.

  • mine didn't have that many feathers at 4 weeks lol

  • OMG, if my father see this, he will want one... they are sooo freaking cute...

  • I love them!

  • so cute but my green cheeked conure made a face

  • awww so cute!!!!

  • awww we have a 3 month old cinnamon green cheek named yoshi he is SO AWESOME! very talkative and playful, still bites a bit but hes getting better every day!

  • @CanadianCatastrophes babies can be a bit nippy....but just keep discouraging the nipping and it will stop.

  • @rita191919

How bad does a baby parrot bite hurt from one of these?

  • @rita191919 what shall a person do if they nip you when they are hungry ofcourse feed them but anything else ?

  • @CanadianCatastrophes That's my baby's name! =] I have a green cheek....He doesn't like to fly, instead, he walks around licking everything in sight and hops!

  • i got a green cheek conure today what type of food should i give him

  • @supermike19961991, i'm no specialist, but u should know what to feed any pet, especialy a bird BEFORE u get it! Oh, and youtube isnt the right place to find out.....

  • Lol my parakeet has alot of babies 5 of them and when they were babies they made those noses and she would feed them :D

  • They are like 13 weeks old not 4

  • @eklipse18 no....they are only 4 weeks old in this video. green cheek conures grow very fast.

  • what is hat food in the bowl on the right that at 0:44 the baby is trying??

  • @Pfmw12 the food they are interested in is our sprout mix mixed with some frozen veggies. I will send you a link in a private message about this food.

  • haha birdies getting frisky ;)

  • i love them birds but about an hour ago mine died worse day of my life :( i just want to cry so much right now.

  • aw, I am so sorry you lost your bird!

  • @rita191919 thanks :)

  • @mAnclTy I know exactly how you feel, and I send my condolences.

  • Cute! I lvoe my green cheeks!

  • Very cute! I want a green cheeked conure.

  • When do you green cheeks wean?

They are soooo cute! At how many weeks do you take them out of the brooder & into normal cage? :)

  • My GCC usually weaned right around weeks old. I leave them in a warmed brooder till about 3 weeks. They they are in a plastic tub (unheated) brooder until they learn how to perch. As soon as they learn to perch they go into a cage. At the age in this video they were still in a large plastic tub with some perches.

  • No she will just lay eggs, theu will not be fertile. they are called duds

  • my green cheecked conure layed eggs but heres the weired thing i only have a girl is it possible for green cheecked conures to give birth without a male to fertilize the egg ? please get back to me about this and any thing i need to do to get ready to take care of babys thnx

  • the eggs wont hatch....they are infertile eggs. Just let your green cheek conure sit on the eggs until she is bored with them. Give her a box or large bowl to put the eggs in so they don't roll around and break. She will sit on them and keep them warm, but they wont hatch.

  • are these all from the same clutch?

    they are just precious

  • Baby conures! What could be cuter!

  • do you have to incubate when hand rearing could any 1 help me

  • babies w/o feathers usually need some incubation to help keep them warm. Once the babies are the age in this video room temperature is fine.

  • There is an exotic bird shop by my house here in orange county called "Omar's exotic birds" where I just put my money down on one of these. Picking him up tomorrow. They are very sweet birds and yours look like little champs :D

  • The one to the left looked like it was stretching at 0:38

  • 1 word....BIRDORABLE..(new bird slang for adorable)

  • That is genius.

  • They are so lovely. Baby conures are simply adorable, look at the way they they walk, so clumsy looks like they going to fall... LOL

  • Aww! I rememeber when my little conure looked like that. soooo cute ^^'

  • so cute!, i have a vidoe of two of my conures, in my profile, if you wanna see it!

  • So adorable!

  • Simply... adorable. I like the yellow sided. It's the easy-going one, it seems.

  • cute is an understatement. THERE AMAZING!!

  • thank you, i'm glad you liked the video!!

  • Ohh my... they are so cute!

I have two budgies and an IRN myself

but i've never seen them this young
