thats sooo not true , i looked it up on the website and it says it will open in may-spring of 2009, its almost done now, they would not push it back that far!!

They just completed the track a few days ago..Should be ready for testing soon..

This is happening all the time now, design flaws with coasters that is. everything in the software says that it's perfect but then they build it and something isn't right. As long as it's safe that's all that matters but jeez it's annoying. Who wants to wait?

You will be ok. At the least, it will be soft openings, which means you can ride the ride, but it's not 100%.

It depends on what happens. Right now, their having "issues" with the lift. I'll inform you if I hear any more information.

When I passed by this the other day they hadn't even finished the drop and it was the same way last weekend too.

The security guard told me they hit a stopping point due to rain and codes, but they were working on the building.

There are alot of rumors going around about why the lift isn't finshed yet. One of them is they screwed up on the supports for the lift and will have to build the thing over again. Another one is that they are waiting for the station to be finshed so the can connect the track from the station to the track they will build for the lift.

im currenty working for a distrubuter of sonhe the real issue is that the piece of tractk that contains the chain that coes from flat o vertical cant be installed due to the fact of the temporary wood in the station the workers use is in the way , if u want to find out more information you call me a 1- 757- 327 5435 thats my buisness number

Yep heard both of those too. But two of the security guards said it should be done by the end of the month but i dont know about that, lol

Haha, I wish it was opening at the end of the month. If your planning a trip to Universal Studios (if you live far away of course), then go sometime in July. The ride will surely be open by that time.

I live right near the park about an hour and a half away. eww july is the worst for weather and crowds. but I will DEFINITELY be going when the announcement comes out of when it is opening. =]

Lucky you! July is a horrible month to go with the crowds and the weather, but July is a safe month to go since HRRR will surely be open by then. As you may have noticed, the date is still Spring 09, so a June opening is still possible.
