These are rare people. Also steriods mainly affect fast twicth muscle fibers that is why Alains jawline (the masseter muscles are all fast twitch) looks so much bigger. Lots and lots of weight lifting, you don't get such a big body just by swimming.
But swimmers also naturally have a very wide ribcage, so once they start gaining muscle it's easier for them to look like beasts =)

As for cycling, doping is not only Italian but is worldwide : a french cyclist didn't even start the Tour since he was already doped, cyclicsts from all over the world get doped, the difference is that Basso or Riccò when caught are stopped by Italy's federation, spain f.i. allows them to continue , not mentioning the USA who defend them like with Lens Armstrong and Landis.

he is on steriods...in the most possible case a person can gain .5lbs a week without steriods in the MOST optimal conditions, and these people are freaks. That is only 2 lbs a month. These are rare people. Also steriods mainly affect fast twicth muscle fibers that is why Alains jawline (the masseter muscles are all fast twitch) looks so much bigger. Big indication of steriod use if u compare to older picture to pictures of now.

No not regulary - there are so called "steroid cycles" where athele is "on" lets say 6 weeks then off 6-8 weeks and so on. There are drugs that can not be found by WADA, and there are ways to hide them or just be clean after 10-14 days of taking certain medicine. There is a lot of information about it.

What the fuck are you saying stupid french? In italy we are doing more than other countries against doping and i don't remenber these examples in swimming or in other sports , instead i remenber very well examples of doped french in athletics and in cyclism , festina case for example.
