  • Love the clean technique

  • OSU! from Mauritius.

I practice Daito Ryu and honestly, i can't see how some people dislikes this video.

This is extremely well explained and effective.

    Respect.

  • OSU, he's so fast! :D

  • very fast and very good control

  • OSU! from vietnam

  • what are these striped belts? never seen them before

  • Comment removed

  • @syapa ah alright.

I only know stripes or tags in the color of the following belt, i.e. yellow with f. ex. green tag/stripe. Or a white belt with a stripe/tag of the following colour, like white belt/blue stripe. Is it common in Ashihara Ryu to have belts like that?

  • I love watch you guys. Great instructional videos.....

  • vrey nice

    thank you so much master

  • It's seem to me..this what Mas oyama would done caught in muiltable opponent attack or a fight. and i did kyokushin.

  • Anyone can tell me where this dojo is?

  • @justin4wei14 This is in torrance CA

  • potoleste-te ma riciule!!

  • Gracias por el video!!!

  • hahaha! gay!

  • なんか・・・アメリカにいった友達と似てる・笑 みちゅ

  • the big problem for me is the begginning of the sequence,i don't think someone can block one punch like the teacher show, because your enemy wants to punch your face, that's the target, and is not easy escape of this punch passing by you so close

  • @Walisgton I agree, I studied enshin and ashiharar, and it's (sabaki) is easier said than done, I value it, but I also value my kyhokushinkai and my kb background(s). Once I grab them, I revert to judo. so oyama an judo makes for Jushindo, my own style.

  • @blugularis you should try kudo daidojuku in that case, you might like it.

    kind regards

  • The technique being taught is very practical. The teacher explained it very clearly. Ashihara karate is one of the most practical striking art. Very very effective.

  • @brothersixteen I def agree with you. Its also rare to come across realistic and practical karate nowadays. The instructor is def on point.

  • Very good technigue

  • i need some help with blocking punches because my arms are covered in bruises, does any one have tips for me?

  • Practice even more you blocks, your arms will get used to it.

  • If you are using your arms to block kicks, you should consider using your legs instead

  • @Ninja619Guy so true

  • @alexcoltm4 dont block just evade, youll be better off

  • @alexcoltm4 Yeah, get used to it.

  • The quality of instruction in this video is the best I've ever seen.

Generally, one has to attend a special regional seminar to get this type of instruction.

Do all Ashihara schools teach this way?

  • @brickshooter hands down

  • The sensei is great. I've been practicing ashihara for 5 years, and I just quit and began wing chun, but our sensei wasn't as efficient as this guy.

  • Ashihara is one the best kept secrets of martial arts world. I hope to see more Ashihara practitioners in future, for it is a no-BS martial art.

  • This teacher is very excellent

  • Mmm, good technique, very sensible and practicable

  • awsome

  • some great tech niques man!!

    they are very practical!!

  • superrrrrrrrrrrr!! ashihara is the best!

  • Very nice

  • こういう技術はあまり公開しないほうがいいと思います。

  • OBVIO!!

  • Nice.

    Osu !
