I like using real sleigh bells for that Christmas feel, rather then a bell tree, as they are richer and extremely warm sounding. However some sleigh bells can sound to heavy and thick, as you want to make sure that they are bright sounding. The difference in sleigh bell sounds enhances a great Christmas song like yours with that classic Christmas feel. If you have not cut the final album, it's not to late to swap out the bells or layer them in a stereo spread.

Will be posting a wonderful example of what I am talking about in regards to different kinds of sleigh/Christmas bells via a classic Christmas song in a few weeks, as soon as the video production side of it is finished. If your studio uses Logic Pro and or Pro Tools to produce your music, then you already have access to the Christmas style sleigh bells that I am referring too. I do not recall off hand what sound patch it's from, but can look it up if need be. It's just my 2 cents worth anyway.
