you have need of a better game engine like Unity3d try it!!

But i think you make the same mistake as me.

You used a cube as body for your player right?

But you can see it with the shadows.

axe swing should be more of a chop and faster, more "snappy", and gotta fix that persistent walking sound. Good job.

First off, this games graphics looks amazing! The textures are really good, I also like the style of the map and the pond is really cool too, this project is WAY out of my standard! My advice is to start a thread on BlenderArtists in Team-Projects asking for members, remember to use screenshots!
