Isn't that too slow? How much is the speed? It looks slow and boring to me. By an italian windsurfer.

Three times the wind speed is not slow :) Max speed on those sledges is ca 80 km/h, fastest ice boards go over 100 km/h. Best conditions are dry ice or just a bit of water on top of it and ca 10 m/s wind, but snow dunes are more funny. On this clip top speeds are 65-70 km/h, but in low wind.

Hi Terrieri, I really doubt that it can be so fast. I think that maximum speed would be 40 Km/H in this video. You can tell by the way the surfers stand on the board and also by the way the sail falls... But I would like to try it as soon as I can be in finland. Can you give me instructions?

Snow pictures are from Canada, but with Finnish sledges on it ;) Had real fun sailing!
