You also get better rewards most of the time I believe. Least thats how it seems.

The best and worst part of capturing is that it ends the fight quicker...problem is getting a chance to set the trap cause its a rather long open period to attack.

Just about every monster has a tell but its best to do a little more damage before trying to capture whatever your fighting.

attack the head it's his softest spot on the body and i suggest getting the highest bone katana you can early game. or the strongest hammer and charge pound the legs i don't believe int he beginning it bounces if you charge pound. i forgot i haven't played with noob weapons in forever

You're probably way beyond that point now but hey just farm kut-ku for beginnign adn dont' be reckless take time read it's attacks and then after a bit go in and attack but be careful remember what you learned when you read it's attacks

heres what you do

get yourself the cheapest bow in town buy poison coating and do the gathering quest in the snowy mountains find some vespoids and shoot them with the coating they will fall right to your feet then carve them up and they will releas vespoid wings vespoid shells and MONSTER FLUID

this also helps for vespoid armor

When you capture a monster you do not get to carve it, however you'll get more items in the reward box and in Khezu's case chances of you getting Pale Bone(Rare Item) increases

you get way more items wen you capture thats why i usually capture monsters i get alot of rare stuff so i suggest you capture monsters
