Never seen a "real" cowboy tuck his pants into his boots..but I have seen Mountain Men, of which William Lee Golden is one, tuck their pants into their boots to keep unwanted critters from crawling in there with them.
@BlShkspr Uhmm yes, its a very old school country style. Hank Williams used to do it all the time. A lot of guys who wore the really fashionable and or well decorated cowboy boots tucked in their pants, however i do not i dont like that style
