of coarse the ark could last a year at sea...We accept God to be supernatural..it could last as long as he allowed it to...if u have a problem with the supernatural you may want to go look in the mirror and ask yourelf why u believe something can come from nothing, or how a tiny pin point of energy created an entire universe and evertyhing in it
really? it's not that each animal would have to fit in one square foot of space, that they would ahve to alst months without food or water, that all the fishes would die from the addition pof fresh water, that the creatures would never be able to amke it to the arm or make it back? your biggest question is if the ark could last that long at sea?
I like how you have explained the structure of the ark, however, one needs to look to history to understand this whole story if plagiarized from the beginning.
The "epic of Gilgamesh" dates back to 2600 BC roughly 200 years before the creation of the Torah which includes the story of Noah and the ark.
Another example of how all religions have fed off of each other to control society and suit their geographical locations.
I like how you have refuted the structure of the Ark, however, one needs to look into history to see that the story of Noah and his ark is plagiarized. It was directly lifted from the "epic of Gilgamesh" which dates back to 2600 BC which was before the OT was even written and the book of Torah.
The story was copied to further the myth and influence the bibles readers.
Actually,no, I wouldn't have. If you hadn't mentioned it at all, how would I have known to bring it up? The type of wood used is of no consequence here.
"Children? It's directed to anyone who wants to watch it."
Then why would you make the part about gopher wood with me in mind?
"Why couldn't Noah's ark have flexed? It wasn't made with a single, giant, plank of wood."
Thats the problem Elijah, it WOULD have flexed. Every joint that flexed would have let LOTS of water through. And on high seas such as what you saw in my reply, a wood and pitch ship wouldn't have lasted more than an hour or two. Even today, the largest wooden ships still in operation employ FULL-TIME bilgepumps. There is no such thing as a waterproof wood and pitch ship. It just doesn't exist.

"To me the REAL question this video raises is:
Could the Ark REALLY last a year at sea?"

The gopher stuff doesn't matter, but if I didn't mention it, you would have.
You know it.
You would have made this same response with a little section that says "WHAT IS GOPHERWOOD?"
Children? It's directed to anyone who wants to watch it.
Yes, pitch was used in many wooden ships.
Why couldn't Noah's ark have flexed? It wasn't made with a single, giant, plank of wood.
This is an honest question, jerry. I'm asking you because I'm a land-lubber.

Holy shit. I never imagined cargo ships to flex that much.

I know, crazy, isn't it?
Now ask yourself this:
Are there any true Noachian Flood believers below deck on cargo ships?
I think not.

Thanks! My videos have been evolving now for a year. I'll be working more with video rather than stills in the future...
