Holy shit! You know when you forget about something from your childhood, and you watch it again and the memories just come floating back? That just happened to me. When I was like, 2 or 3 I used to be obsessed with pointing out exit signs. All the Sesame Street I watched as a kid must have contributed to that.
That being said, I don't remember all of this, but I definitely remember the loud EXIT voiceover.
I remember this Sesame Street segment about exits. It was shown on Sesame Street all the time in the 90's. This always made me get up and dance when I was little. This segment still makes me want to get up and dance to it. Those kids that are dancing in this segment are so cute I wish I was on this segment dancing with them. I also love it when all the kids are gone and the art picture comes to life and the paintings start dancing and stuff it's really cool. Love you forever Sesame Street xxxxx
I remember this so much it's so cool. This used to make me get up and dance when I was younger it still makes me want to get up and dance to it. I danced to it when I was younger. I remember the very first time it came on. I loved this segment when I was younger I still do. I hope I can see this again on Sesame Street if the bring it back to the UK on Channel 4 soon. I love Sesame Street and this segment forever and I always will. I wish this could be on my I pod and phone. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I remember watching this when i was 4-5 years old (im 19 now) and the parts where they zoomed into the exit sign would scare the living hell out of me!!!!
In fact, after I first saw this back then, exit signs in general would scare me a lot!!!!! lol
The guy that drew that wall mural in the gym, was a famous New York artist. He painted a lot of those in schools, public parks, and ymca's in the city. Unfortunately, before this Sesame Street segment came out, he died of aids. I hope all the kids in nyc can appreciate his work.
I am glad to see that I was not the only one that was looking for this video. There was only one site that I found that had this video and it took me forever to find it. I have to agree with tavelsonic, some of those parts kinda creeped me out as a kid.
Oh my god it's about time i found this. I thought it was more of a song then it was just saying them exit though. Yes but very creepy when they say exit exit exit.
What we call exiting with attitude! :D

Luckily, this mural was saved from demolition about 2½ years ago. I'm surprised that I found out important information about this artwork! :-)

My TV station (in Australia) interspersed 90's Sesame street with 70's Sesame Street when I was a toddler.
I remember this, and a few segments of the 70's show.
