Most are custom built and designed, all run dry sumps with a 2.5 gallon resevoir or bigger and coolers. I built them for about 10 years or so,for Dave Hockers, Lowell Degreef, and a few others. Dave was Points Champ and Driver of the Year in 2000. When TV came along with Marty Reid, it priced a lot of the smaller privateers out of the race scene in a few years. Dave ran a ford block with chevy internals, a custom ground crank(ford mains and chevy rod sizes) yates heads and crower custom cam. !!!

the hand throttle is evan evans, he is paralized and controls his truck with the motorcycle throttle he twist's it like a normal motorcycle throttle then pushes the entire assembly forward to brake..and he has paddle shifters on the steering wheel to shift..its pretty amazing how he can do that

Excuse me, I have a 5.0 Mustang GT and I've been doing this kind of drifing for 5 years now. I've done anywhere to 0-90mph drifts, which is pretty bad ass. I don't do burnouts cuz they are gay all I do is drift cuz that takes skill and I'm lucky enough to have that skill. I do stuff like these guys do so don't talk shit on me cuz your wrong.

i was there! ^^^^^ lol...i got jeremy mcgrath's autograph on a poster. wat a stud :) i love off road racing...standing out in the middle of the desert for atleast 1 hours...the ttly amazing sound and smell of the trophy trucks (my fav type of races to watch)...and the BEST part bout goin to a Best In The Desert Race,is getting owned by dust (dirt)...that shiz gets everywhere!! all over the truck and in ur hair and all over ur clothes...man!! good ol memories out there on the coarse (tracks):)

well the motor itself is about 20 grand just cause its a high performance motor, the suspension and the tranny, all that crap adds up, plus they have to make a profit somehow if they are selling it, gotta sell it for more that what they put into it
