  • awesome - Dave!! - great lines - fluid, smooth, great sound and bass mix - you're all over it catdaddy!! - MR. PICKLES sends his KUDOS, too!!!

  • nice work guys singing right along

    tim

  • Bill Bruford ...of course. Can't get used to this keyboard here...

  • Nice work. The intor is not South Side of the Sky but:Perpetual Change and then we go to the South Side of the Sky.

But please also listen to the original on the Frgaile album recorded in 1971!!!!Drums by Bill Brofurd...and thta is without any doubt the best ever.

  • Wow. I have only heard of Spock's Beard, I am truly impressed! This is a massive cover! Luv it.

  • this is on the second CD of Snow special edition.

  • @schizoidman91 I have that special edition, but this doesn't seem to be there, unless it's under another title.

  • @sexyemotomcat I've always heard about it to be in the 3rd CD of the Snow limited special edition, but I've just the base edition so I can't be sure about it.

It would be the first track.

  • Very nice, I really like this cover. Not perfect, but then no cover is. Very few musicians can effectively take on Yes & do this well. The only Yes cover I like better was Dream Theater's version of "The Heart of the Sunrise" Where did you get this? I would very much like to buy the CD if there is one.

  • Spock Beard is awesome. South Side if the Sky is awesome. But somehow, when you combine the two, its not.

  • holy crap, where did this guys come from?? i expected this to be Star Trek footage put to YES, but instead it's this incredible cover.... wow.... i am truly blown away....

  • @MGMLioness - Hehe, does that mean that you never heard of Spocks Beard? :) Get ready to treat yourself to all their CD's :D And then check out all of Neal Morse's Solo Albums (He left the band and now the Drummer Nick D'Virgilo sings). You may like the side super Prog Group "Transatlantic" as well.

  • @MGMLioness They came from L.A. (and one member from Japan) if you must know . . .

  • SB what a fenomenal band! Great stuff and amazing musicians!

  • Awesome cover. Appropriately, this was uploaded on my birthday.

Not as good as I would have expected from SB, unfortunately, but hearing their interpretation is welcome!
