Queen Live in Houston 1977 DVD w/Remastered Dolby Digital audio available at Tommygun Video please see our youtube channel for link to web site, clips, and more info
this version is also featured on the Greatest Flix tape (not to be confused with the greatest hits dvd's the greatest flix dvd's can be found on a certain site with a pirate vessel logo) ;)
MTV and VH1 used to play 'We Will Rock You' with both the slow version and the fast version together-- does anyone know where I can watch the exact copy they would play together? This one looks like it, but it's been so long since they played music on either of those channels, I can't remember if this is the fast version that followed the original on MTV and VH1 or if there is another video out there with both of them I would REALLY appreciate any info.
An Evening With Queen 1974-1976 2DVD set, Queen Live at Earl's Court 1977 DVD available at Tommygun Video please see our youtube channel for link to web site, clips, and more info
IFarrokh Bulsara.... perfect voice, classically trained on the piano, songwriter, designed Queens logo.....collector of Japanese art..Beautiful,shy sweet and yes ...sexy... part of something so perfect. Brian May Guitar Master Brilliant song writter, Roger Taylor great on drums and that falsetto John Deacon wrote some of Queen's most memorible songs and amazing bass player.. I miss your presence Freddie Mercury..I admire how you lived...and died on your termsGlad I got to see Queen LIVE
This was weeks from when I saw them for the 1st time at the Philadelphia Spectrum 11/23/77 Tickets for Floor seats $8.50. This was The News Of The World Tour & the lighting rig above them which you see climbing was a Huge CROWN that lay on the stage & lifted thru the fog & lights to reveal the band jamming to We Will Rock You Fast Version. The Slow Regular Version was played almost at the end. Freddy Loved Philthydelphia as he called it, he fit right in!!! Lenny Bandoch
@pfootball43 I don't think you can, Concerts today are regulated for sound intensity: they will never be this loud again. The 70's were great: no rules.
Not only in the world..he's a legend in the Oort Clould and to fellow Plutonions. All Comets respects the one you call May ..we still cannot understand "Big Hair Rock"
My cousin Joe was their lighting director for this tour and designed that lighting rig and the one for the following tour. He had a great time but after 2 years went on to other bands including Foreigner, Air Supply, Steve Miller, REO Speedwagon and back to Queen in 85 for Rock in Rio then the Australian tour. I saw them twice in Providence but which I saw them for this tour.
the crowds always dead at Queen concerts :D:D

I like the fast version even more than the standard one. Maybe because I didn´t hear it one million times.
Freddie rules
Roger rules
Brian rules

It is not "faster" than the regular studio version, the tempo is about the same. But it is simply arranged and played completely differently.
