Yeah like a guy said below all you gotta do is press up twice while the character is highlighted in the character select screen. Quicker way to do it.

Yea, you jsut hafta press up,up or down,down.. save teh hassle of goign screen to screen but your way works too xD

The bonus characters have more colors than that. You can press UP twice, Press DOWN twice, or press X twice to switch colors.
