Fear limits and is limited. Greed limits and is limited. Fear is a natural result of greed, and limits greed. Greed is a gesture of fear and limits freedom. The potential of Mahamudra is both freedom from, and way beyond greed and vanity. Greed, vanity, and fear obscure realization and limit awareness. Greed and potential for greed and resulting fear are thankfully not proof of Ground Mahamudra. Try love as an example... It's closer to the point and brings clarity rather than obscuration.
